L’école publique et les marques commerciales : concurrents ou alliés ? : Entre réalité du terrain et cadrage institutionnel

Abstract : This research paper highlights the intrusion of trademarks in the educative system through the educational teaching staff. It starts from an observation in the fiels and allows us to question the practices in order to make them evolve. How do brand products find their way into our classrooms ? Does the presence of brands in the classrooms have effects on the students ? What do the law and official programs say ? Are the wearing of commercial brands and the bringing of branded products by the teacher to school compatible with the required principle of neutrality? Are the teachers informed and aware of this intrusion and of the consequences it could have on the children ? The action research carried out shows that there is a gap between official texts and the reality of the fiels in primary school. Teachers -consciously or not- allow the intrusion of brands in classrooms for several reasons.
