L’entrée dans l’apprentissage du français langue seconde par un élève turcophone en petite section : une étude de cas auprès d’une famille d’origine turque à Vesoul

Abstract : Taking bilingualism and plurilingualism into account is one of the main challenges of french school. This research led to the observation of a Turkish-speaking pupil's language evolution and his development of a French-Turkish bilingualism, from his enrolment in kindergarten in Vesoul. It also allowed to observe the effects on himself and his family. The theorical part of the research presents bilingualism and the issues it highlights, in both school and the society as a whole. It also brings in forefront a series of guidelines for the relationship between school and the family, and the specific pedagogy to implement in order to ensure the pupil's well-being. This case studie's results are presented thanks to the resulting fieldwork, the observations in school and family environments, and lastly the interviews led with the pupil's parents and teacher.
