This work deals with Scotland’s relation to independence and the referendums which took place in this country in 1979 (which was not a success), in 1997 (which let Scotland reach devolution and gain more powers) and in 2014, when Scotland didn’t become independent but was not very far from it. This essay particularly concentrates on the campaign for the 2014 referendum, what was at stake and what led to the final result. Contient aussi une partie "Didactique" rédigée en français.
